Blog 3: Movies bring Violence

Whatever movies we watch, violence is widespread; whether suspense, horror or action, or even in love stories or comedies. In suspense, horror and action movies, violence is seen by bare eyes and heard by bare ears. Bad words are said and heard, and bad scenes are seen to which affects the viewers, mostly on young children on their mental and psychological sides. Those violence acts are examples of obvious violence. He who thinks violence is only shown from action and horror movies is wrong. In love stories and comedies evolving is the violence. For one thing, kissing and too much of making love with pairs are looking to be so violent especially to the eyes of children, which is again bad. It affects the children's way of talking to people. Another is with comedies which actors use fancy words or even “uncensored” words just to make it shown funny even if it’s harmful to the young minds of the innocent children. This is the other kind of violence which we call the non-obvious violence. Though we can find movies which are good, but we can never ever find movies which are perfectly non-violent; and if not to each other, but to the other.

  1. Not only the actions show violence also the conversations that may influence the viewers specifically the children.
